Last updated: August 29, 2026

North Group ("we," "us," or "our") operates trustinnorth.com and its two divisions, North Mechanical and North Systems. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at info@trustinnorth.com or (603) 714-7264.

Who we are

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Service address or town
  • Details about your property and equipment (for example, your current heating system, fuel type, or the work you're considering)
  • Any other information you choose to include in a message or form

We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit our website, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the site or ad that referred you.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through our web forms or ads. Please do not submit it.

Where we collect it

Our website. Through contact forms, quote requests, and any other forms on trustinnorth.com.

Facebook and Instagram lead forms. We advertise on Meta platforms. If you tap one of our ads and submit a lead form, Meta passes the information you submitted to us — typically your name, email, phone number, and your answers to the questions in that form. Meta may pre-fill some of those fields from your Meta profile; you can review and edit them before submitting. Information you submit through a Meta lead form is governed by this policy once we receive it. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by Meta's privacy policy, not ours.

Phone, text, and email. When you call, text, or email us directly.

In person. When a technician or estimator visits your property.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your request and schedule or provide an estimate
  • Contact you by phone, text, or email about your inquiry
  • Perform, schedule, and follow up on services you hire us for
  • Send invoices and process payments
  • Help you apply for utility rebates or manufacturer incentives, when you ask us to
  • Send occasional service reminders, seasonal maintenance notices, or promotions, if you have not opted out
  • Improve our website, our services, and the performance of our advertising
  • Comply with legal, tax, licensing, and insurance obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Calls, texts, and email

When you give us your phone number through a form, an ad, or directly, you agree that we may contact you at that number about your inquiry — including by text message and by automated or prerecorded means where applicable. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Message and data rates may apply.

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us at info@trustinnorth.com. We will still contact you about work you have actively scheduled or in progress.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf — for example, scheduling and CRM software, email and text messaging platforms, payment processors, and IT vendors. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Subcontractors and technicians assigned to your job.
  • Utilities and rebate administrators, such as NHSaves and participating utility programs, when you ask us to help you apply for a rebate and the application requires it.
  • Financing partners, if you apply for financing through us. Their handling of your application is governed by their own privacy policies.
  • Professional advisors such as our accountants, insurers, and attorneys.
  • Authorities, when we are required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or where we believe it is necessary to protect our rights, our safety, or the safety of others.
  • A successor, if our business or a division is sold, merged, or reorganized.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

We may use advertising and CRM data to understand which campaigns generate inquiries and customers, improve our advertising, and follow up on your request.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and lead information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and customer records for as long as needed to service your equipment, honor warranties, and meet our tax, licensing, and insurance obligations. When we no longer need information, we delete it or render it unidentifiable.

Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are required to keep
  • Opt out of marketing calls, texts, and emails

To make a request, email info@trustinnorth.com or call (603) 714-7264. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Depending on where you live, your state may give you additional rights over your personal information. If you believe you have rights under a state privacy law, contact us at the address above and we will respond in accordance with that law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services and advertising are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us at info@trustinnorth.com and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site and our ads may link to sites we do not control, including manufacturer sites, financing partners, and utility rebate programs. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be posted on this page.
